Class description

Musical Theater 1 - Singing and dancing

This course focuses on singing different styles of Musical Theater and taking choreography. Over 10 weeks, we will explore different musical theater genres while developing confidence, stage presence and your singing and dancing skills.

No previous musical theater or stage experience is required.

What You'll Learn

• Different singing styles and genres within musical theater

• Musical theater choreography and movement techniques

• Confidence, stage presence, and ensemble performance skills

Students will develop their ability to combine singing, movement, and acting while learning material from a variety of musical theater songs.

Classes are supportive, playful, and collaborative. Students are encouraged to explore, be creative, and have fun!

The course concludes with a showcase on our stage, where you'll have the opportunity to share what you've learned with friends, family, and fellow students.
